Brause nibs can be found in the toolbox of many calligraphers, lettering artists, penmen and illustrators. They are famous for offering a subtle balance between relative elasticity for easier writing, and the resistance necessary for clear strokes.
The Extra Fine Point #66 nib (also called “arrow) is excellent for fine detail work due to its hard, sharp point. It is highly elastic, with very smooth reaction and high ink capacity.
Brause Nibs are manufactured in Germany from cold rolled steel and pressed with tools specific to each model and nib size.
