Designed by Hannes Wettstein and first introduced in 2005, the LAMY Studio is a real modern classic in the pen world and, to me, one of the greatest exemplars of LAMY’s functional minimalist design. The appropriately named Piano Black is a beautiful, classy glossy finish that is sure to stand the test of time.

Hannes Wettstein (1958 – 2008) had, like all truly great designers, his fingers in many pies. With work ranging from fine wristwatches for NOMOS, furniture for Cassina, lighting for Belux and of course fine writing instruments for LAMY Germany.

Each LAMY Studio ballpoint arrives in a LAMY presentation box and is compatible with LAMY M16 ballpoint refills.
