Factory distributor and cam gears wear out over time requiring replacement.  The problem is replacement gears are often manufactured from materials with different finishes and Rockwell hardness.  This particular issue can result in chewed up gears requiring expensive engine repairs!  Our gears are precision manufactured from heavy-duty iron with the same Rockwell hardness with predictive reliability.
