The Platinum BISO fountain pen takes its name from the Japanese characters 美 (beauty) and 奏 (harmony), reflecting the idea of expressing oneself beautifully and with balance through writing.
Compared to Platinum’s iconic #3776 Century, the BISO features a lighter body and a slimmer profile. The pen body is crafted from a purple pearlescent resin that subtly shifts in tone depending on light and viewing angle.
The gold-plated steel nib offers a distinctive writing experience. It provides noticeable feedback on the paper – not scratchy, but deliberately more tactile. Those who prefer ultra-smooth nibs may find this pen less suitable.
