Description
Platinum’s Classic Inks range is the definition of under-the-radar. Water resistant and very well behaved, these are some really beautiful and appropriately “classic” colours from one of the Big Three Japanese penmakers.
Developed in collaboration with a Japanese fountain pen enthusiast known only as “Gary” these inks are modern Iron Gall inks. For those unfamiliar, Iron Gall inks have been made for centuries and are highly water resistant as the ferrous sulphate content of the ink causes it to bond permanently to the paper.
Platinum Classic Lavender Black is a rich and deep lavender purple ink that over time will darken to a Merlot-like shade of purple-black.
Each Platinum Classic ink comes in a 60ml glass bottle.
